The social policy still remains the important course of work for the Holding Company.
The year 2003 was not an exception in the general course of activity.

Under the constant auspices of the CTS company is Kemerovo Boarding School #53.
Pupils and teachers of the school are grateful to the Holding Company for close attention that the company"s team renders to this school. Last year we sponsored our subordinates - in March the company purchased new furniture for the school.

The CTS Holding Company holds that we live in a huge country, that its boundaries are protected by valorous and courageous people.
Appreciating the merits of their work, so remarkable and necessary to all of us, the company helps the Russian Forces as much as possible.
So on March, 20 2003 the company"s team decided on the transfer of their day time earnings to the fellow countrymen - submariners from the "Kuzbass" submarine.
This day, hence, became the day of aspiration to the world and unification.
Seamen, by the way, did not disregard this event. One month later the commander of the "Kuzbass" submarine, captain of the first rank S.F.Zaharchenko visited the Holding Company, having brought a letter of appreciation from composed by the crew of the submarine.
In their letter mariners expressed gratitude for the attention, moral and material support.
In his salutation speech addressed to the employees of the Holding Company captain Zaharchenko noted, that such military-sponsoring would not only ensure effective protection of our sea boundaries, but would also strengthen the determination of seamen, their belief in the unity of the army and people.

We mind the region where we work, we mind the people who live in Kuzbass.
We also try to help them as much as we can. The "Polenet" Company made the decision of carrying out a series of charitable actions to assist some categories of people requiring the connection to the World Web network.
Among them are the ten people with disabilities (group I) living in Kemerovo, Welfare Fund "Zabota", Haemophilia Treatment Society (Prokopevsk).
All of them were given the discount of 20% off the retail cost and free-of-charge access time of 10 hours per month.
Last year in June the Holding Company established stationary cellular telephones Nokia-10 from SOTEL with the tariff plan "Social"(Sotzial"ny) (about 30 copecks per one call, all emergency calls dialed - 01, 02, 03, 05 - free-of-charge) providing them for the six veterans of World War II in Leninsk-Kuznetsk.
This action became possible due to active cooperation of "Kuzbass cellular communication" with local and regional administrations.
In February, 2003 "Kuzbass cellular communication" was awarded the prize for this joint action in the competition of "the Best social project" carried out among the companies of Kemerovo.

If it had not been for the assistance rendered by the authorities, by the way, the following action wouldn"t have been realized either.
On August, 29 in Kemerovo Children"s Boarding School N6 with all the solemnities observed the final performance of the charitable action "Get your child prepared for school" took place.
It was organized by "Sibtelecom" ("Chanson" FM Radio Station, "The Echo of Moscow in Kuzbass" Radio Station, "TV-3" Broadcasting Channel) with the CTS Company and Kemerovo administrative authorities" full support.
The essence of the action consisted in addressing the heads of the enterprises and private persons.
The suggestion was to make the money spent on advertisement work for the benefit of children from boarding schools and children"s homes. Adverts of all participants of the action were placed in our MASS-MEDIA and corresponded the sum rendered by them for charity.
All the money, the goods and services obtained during the action were directed to the children in need. In addition "TV - 3", "Chanson", "Echo of Moscow in Kuzbass" and our weekly journal "Capital" voiced the information about the sponsors of the action.
It is necessary to note that many private persons volunteered to help children from Boarding Schools; in the course of one month people kept coming to the "Sibtelecom" office bringing money, tutorials, school accessories and clothes.
We are happy that this action becomes a traditional event and is carried out both in Kemerovo and Novokuznetsk every year.

The Holding Company is as much concerned about the native region"s culture.
We believe that beauty will rescue the world. It"s been about 5 years since the Joint-Stock Company "Kuzbass Cellular communication" is the general sponsor of the Fine Arts Museum.
Due to our cooperation, people from all cities in the region as well as visitors to Kuzbass are able to appreciate the works of art created by the famous painters of the past and the present. Besides, Kemerovo people are given a unique opportunity of viewing some pictures much earlier, than an exposition opens. Pieces of art are placed at offices of the Joint-Stock Company "Kuzbass Cellular communication".
Paintings on the walls of the office on Kirova, 45 are a big event not only for the managers, but also for the representatives of mass media. Journalists of "Sibtelecom" and "Capital" are regularly invited to solemn openings of exhibitions at the office of "Kuzbass Cellular communication".
